1. Available requests
Depending on applicable law and your relationship with ScaleKit, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, information about disclosures, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal. You may also opt out of ScaleKit marketing email, calls, and texts or covered sale, sharing, and targeted advertising.
- Privacy request: use subject “Privacy Request.”
- Marketing opt-out: use subject “Marketing Opt-Out,” use an email unsubscribe link, or reply STOP to a ScaleKit text.
- Consent withdrawal: identify the authorization you want to withdraw and use subject “Consent Withdrawal.”
- Privacy appeal: use subject “Privacy Appeal” and identify the prior decision.
2. How to submit
Email funding@scalekitfinancing.com with your name, the email address or telephone number associated with your application, state of residence, requested action, and enough information to locate the record. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or unnecessary financial documents by ordinary email.
3. Verification
ScaleKit may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, authority, state of residence, and the records involved. Authorized agents may be required to provide written authorization, and ScaleKit may request direct verification from the individual where permitted by law.
4. Limits and timing
Rights are not absolute. ScaleKit may deny or limit a request where information is needed to complete a requested transaction, maintain consent or suppression records, prevent fraud, protect security, comply with law, preserve evidence, protect another person's rights, or establish or defend legal claims. ScaleKit will respond within the period required by applicable law.
5. Independent providers
A request submitted to ScaleKit does not automatically apply to information controlled by an independent financing provider. Contact the provider directly regarding its records, communications, or privacy practices. ScaleKit will provide reasonably available information identifying providers to which it disclosed your application information upon a verified request.
6. No discrimination
ScaleKit will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Withdrawing an authorization needed to perform a requested service may prevent ScaleKit from continuing that service.
