1. Scope and operator
This Privacy Policy describes how ScaleKit Financing, operated by Arch Ventures LLC, collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information through its website, financing marketplace, lender directory, applications, communications, and related services. It applies to applicants, business owners, authorized representatives, website visitors, and other users.
2. ScaleKit's role
ScaleKit provides business-financing information, referral, marketplace, and lender-matching services. ScaleKit is not a bank or lender and does not make final credit decisions. Independent financing providers apply their own privacy notices, underwriting standards, and retention practices after receiving information.
3. Information we collect
- Identifiers and contact information, including name, business name, email, telephone number, postal address, and device identifiers.
- Business and commercial information, including entity type, ownership, industry, location, time in business, customers, financing purpose, requested amount, and provider selections.
- Financial-profile and credit-related information, including revenue, profitability, account or transaction records submitted later, estimated credit range, and credit-report information when separately authorized.
- Application documents and communications, including uploaded records, signatures, consent records, support messages, and provider interactions.
- Internet and device activity, including IP address, browser, device, referral source, pages viewed, form activity, cookies, pixels, and approximate location.
- Inferences and automated outputs created to organize applications, identify potential financing categories, detect incomplete information, or prevent fraud.
4. Sources of information
We collect information directly from you and authorized representatives; automatically from browsers, devices, cookies, and similar technologies; from referral and marketing partners; from financing providers; from identity, fraud, business-information, credit-reporting, financial-data, and analytics services when lawfully authorized; and from public records or other lawful sources.
5. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
- Respond to inquiries, evaluate preliminary qualifications, identify financing routes, and transmit applicant-directed referrals or applications.
- Verify identity, business ownership, authority, and submitted information.
- Communicate about an inquiry, application, requested service, security issue, or support need.
- Detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful conduct.
- Maintain consent, suppression, audit, transaction, and compliance records.
- Measure performance, attribution, and website activity; develop internal products and processes.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims.
6. How we disclose information
When you request financing options or authorize a referral, we may disclose relevant information to financing providers identified to you before disclosure. Recipient categories may include banks, credit unions, SBA-participating lenders, nonbank lenders, commercial-finance companies, equipment-finance providers, brokers, servicers, and referral partners.
We may also disclose information to vendors and contractors supporting hosting, cloud storage, application management, communications, verification, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, analytics, attribution, document processing, financial-data connections, legal, accounting, compliance, and business continuity; to affiliates; to authorities or others where legally required or reasonably necessary for safety and fraud prevention; and in a proposed or completed corporate transaction.
7. Independent providers
Each financing provider is an independent business. Once a provider receives information as an independent business or controller, its own privacy notice, security practices, communications, legal obligations, and retention rules may govern. A provider may retain information even if it makes no offer, you decline an offer, or no transaction closes. ScaleKit does not control a provider's independent processing, underwriting, communications, or decisions.
8. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
ScaleKit does not sell personal information for money. Some state laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising broadly enough to cover certain analytics, advertising, attribution, referral, or provider disclosures. Where applicable, you may opt out through the Privacy Choices page or by contacting ScaleKit.
ScaleKit does not sell, rent, or disclose mobile telephone numbers or SMS consent records to unaffiliated third parties for their independent marketing. Mobile information may be disclosed to communication vendors solely to deliver authorized messages, maintain consent or suppression records, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
9. Cookies and analytics
ScaleKit may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics services, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember choices, prevent fraud, understand activity, measure attribution, and improve services. Some providers may collect information directly and combine it with information obtained elsewhere. Required controls, opt-outs, and recognized browser-based preference signals will be honored where applicable.
10. Automated tools
ScaleKit may use automated rules, scoring tools, analytics, or artificial-intelligence-assisted tools to organize applications, identify missing or inconsistent information, recommend financing categories, route requests, prevent fraud, assist support, and improve operations. Automated outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and do not constitute approval or professional advice. Independent providers make their own decisions.
11. Communications
ScaleKit may send administrative, transactional, security, document, application-status, and support communications reasonably necessary to provide requested services. Promotional email may be stopped through an unsubscribe link. Marketing calls or texts are made only as permitted by law and under the separate consent presented at collection. Consent to marketing calls or texts is not a condition of receiving services or financing. Reply STOP to stop texts or contact funding@scalekitfinancing.com.
12. Credit reports and the FCRA
ScaleKit is not a consumer reporting agency. ScaleKit will not obtain a consumer or business credit report without a permissible purpose and any authorization required by law. A financing provider may request its own authorization. Whether an inquiry is soft or hard depends on the provider, product, and application stage.
13. Security
ScaleKit maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, which may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transmission, logging, monitoring, vendor restrictions, data minimization, incident response, and personnel requirements. No website, network, transmission, storage system, or security control is completely secure, and ScaleKit cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Retention
ScaleKit retains information only as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, administer applications and referrals, maintain consent and suppression records, prevent fraud, satisfy legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and establish or defend claims. Retention depends on sensitivity, application status, legal limitation periods, regulatory requirements, security risks, backup schedules, and technical feasibility. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove isolated backup copies.
15. Privacy rights and choices
Depending on your state and applicable law, you may have rights to access, know, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of information; opt out of covered sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; withdraw consent; appeal a denied request; and receive non-discriminatory treatment. Rights are subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to written authorization and identity verification.
Recognized Global Privacy Control signals will be processed as required by applicable law.
16. California notice
During the preceding 12 months, ScaleKit may have collected the categories described above, including identifiers, customer-record information, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, professional information, financial information, inferences, and sensitive personal information provided during an authorized financing process. California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain disclosure information, opt out of covered sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive-information uses, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. ScaleKit does not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16.
17. Children and U.S. operations
The Services are intended for adults and authorized business representatives and are not directed to children under 18. ScaleKit operates primarily for U.S. businesses and users. Information may be processed in the United States or another jurisdiction whose laws differ from those where you reside.
18. Changes and contact
ScaleKit may update this policy to reflect changes in services, practices, technology, providers, or legal obligations. Material changes will be communicated and consent requested where required. The Last Updated date identifies the current version.
